About the role
Diamond Air and Energy is seeking an experienced Operations Manager - Air-conditioning to lead and oversee our air conditioning installation and maintenance operations in Narangba, Queensland. This is a full-time, permanent position that is essential to the smooth running of our growing business. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our air conditioning services, from scheduling and logistics to quality control and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing
* Developing and implementing operational strategies to drive efficiency and productivity
* Overseeing the scheduling and dispatching of technicians to job sites
* Ensuring all installations and maintenance work are completed to the highest standard
* Managing inventory and ordering parts and supplies as needed
* Analysing performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement
* Fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
* Liaising with customers to address any concerns or issues
* Providing regular reporting to the senior management team
What we're looking for
* Minimum 2 years of experience in air conditioning operations management
* Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems and components
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Ability to effectively manage and lead a team of technicians
* Exceptional customer service orientation
* Proficient in using business management software and tools
* Relevant industry certifications or qualifications
