About the role
We are seeking an Office Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team at PKF Canberra. This is a full-time role based in our Canberra office. As an integral part of our administrative support team, you will be responsible for providing efficient and professional administrative assistance to ensure the smooth running of our office. Flexible work arrangements may be offered for the right applicant.
What you'll be doing
* Providing comprehensive administrative support including diary management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements
* Assisting with financial administration tasks such as invoicing, processing payments, and maintaining financial records
* Answering and directing incoming phone calls and emails in a friendly and professional manner
* Ordering office supplies and maintaining inventory
* Providing reception duties and greeting clients and visitors
* Supporting the team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
What we're looking for
* Ideally several years of experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within a professional services environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Knowledge of office management software and systems
* A proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented approach to work
