Your new role
As a Buildings Asset Officer, you'll play a key part in maintaining Council's facilities, ensuring they're safe, functional and welcoming. Your tasks include inspecting buildings, planning and scheduling maintenance, working with contractors and managing bookings.
You'll help manage records, support the team with reports and procedures. Every day is a mix of site visits, problem-solving and teamwork to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Contribute to the region's growth with a 35 hour week, regular RDOs and long service leave after five years.
Located in the award-winning town of Mudgee, NSW.
About you
 * Certificate III in Business or equivalent experience in facility management or asset administration;
 * Two years' experience in a similar position in Local Government or a similar organisation, including customer service experience;
 * Demonstrated experience in gathering asset information, building inspections and asset management systems;
 * Liaising with contractors and service providers for maintenance and service schedules;
 * Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, remaining motivated and flexible.
The salary range is $67,732 - $76,239 gross plus superannuation per year.
