Project Engineer Role
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will work on a range of challenging projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver results.
The role involves drafting project status reports, managing Variation/TQ/RFI and action registers, monitoring project progress against multiple timelines, and identifying potential risks.
As a Project Engineer, you will have experience in operating across multi-discipline teams, with a strong background in engineering and project management. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with project teams and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Draft fortnightly project status reports for key stakeholders
* Lead the management of all Variation/TQ/RFI and action registers
* Monitor, control and report project progress against multiple project timelines
* Identify and document potential risks
* Assist with the interface between engineering team members, sub-contractors and key stakeholders
* Use scheduling and document management tools to update, track and record project performance
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* An engineering degree (with mechanical, process or piping background) with 5-10 years' experience
* Experience in operating across a range of multi-discipline teams
* Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling and monitoring
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
