As a Vice President in our Investment Banking coverage team, you will be an integral part of deal execution and client coverage for General Industries (GI) and Financial Sponsors Group (FSG) clients. You will support senior bankers, take ownership of work streams, and gradually develop leadership skills while contributing to the team's success across a range of banking products.
Job Responsibilities
* Participate in the execution of transactions across mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, loans, equity capital, and debt capital raises for GI and FSG clients.
* Serve as a key point of contact for clients on day-to-day deal matters, with a focus on Australia, and assist in global cross-border transactions involving Australian clients.
* Coordinate and review the analytical work of Associates and Analysts, helping to move the marketing and execution process forward.
* Assist in preparing and refining marketing and execution materials, including financial models and presentations, to ensure high-quality client deliverables.
* Work closely with internal and external parties on transactions, such as lawyers, accountants, and third-party consultants.
* Support client negotiations, Q&A processes, and management interviews alongside senior bankers.
* Participate in business and company events to help identify new business opportunities and support pitches for new clients.
* Build knowledge of the global and Australian GI and FSG sectors, collaborating with colleagues across JPMorganChase's platform.
* Contribute to a dynamic team environment with strong deal flow and exposure to landmark transactions.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines from a top-tier educational institution.
* Minimum 6 years' experience working in the front office of a top-tier Investment Bank, with exposure to GI and/or FSG clients.
* Solid experience in transaction execution and supporting deal teams across M&A, ECM, and DCM.
* Strong financial modelling, analytical, and presentation skills.
* Good understanding of M&A and capital markets transaction cycles and processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior professionals, clients, and stakeholders across product groups.
* Highly driven, detail-oriented, diligent, and proactive, with strong historical performance reviews.
* Self-directed, motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
