Legal Aid NSW delivers accessible legal services across criminal, family and civil law. We provide advice, court representation, and family dispute resolution through 28 offices and phone-based support, helping people navigate the legal system with confidence and fairness.
About the role
Please note that this recruitment activity, which may include a creation of a talent pool, is restricted to the Gosford office.
In this role, you will support and advise the Solicitor in Charge on operational matters to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality client services within a busy, multi‑disciplinary legal environment. You will manage and coordinate the administration team, ensuring the office is appropriately resourced and that client service activities run efficiently and consistently.
You will work collaboratively with another Office Manager 7/8, sharing leadership responsibilities to support staff performance, maintain operational standards, and contribute to a cohesive, client‑centred culture within the Gosford office.
About you
You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, confidently managing competing priorities, tight deadlines, and a high volume of work. With strong leadership and well‑developed interpersonal skills, you work collaboratively with the Solicitor in Charge and the broader team to ensure smooth, effective office operations.
Highly organised and systematic in your approach, you are proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic about taking on varied tasks. You bring transparency, reliability, and sound judgment to all aspects of your work.
