About the role

A passionate and skilled Specialist Support Coordinator is needed to work alongside participants with complex needs to help them navigate the NDIS, build capacity and access sustainable supports. The role involves coordinating across health, housing, justice, education and mental health services, responding to crises, advocating for participants, fostering community connections, problem‑solving barriers and ensuring services work together to deliver wrap‑around, person‑centred care. You will also maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with NDIS requirements and best practice standards.


About the practice

We are an ever‑growing, multidisciplinary allied health practice that has proudly supported families across the Kimberley since August 2022. Our team includes Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Support Coordinators, delivering holistic, person‑centred care.

Based in the stunning Kimberley region of Western Australia, we operate offices in Broome, Derby and Kununurra. Services are delivered in clinics, homes and schools, and through outreach to remote communities such as Fitzroy Crossing, Bidyadanga and Looma. We prioritise participant choice and control, partner with families and communities, and create a family‑friendly, supportive workplace with flexibility (including work‑from‑home options), professional growth and collaboration.


Experience and qualifications required

* Relevant qualifications such as Social Work, Nursing, Psychology or a related discipline.
* Experience working with people experiencing complex psychosocial disability or risk.
* A solutions‑focused, compassionate and culturally responsive approach.
* Valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
* Current Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain.
* National Police Clearance & NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
* Vaccinated for Covid‑19 (recommended 3 vaccinations).
* Current First Aid Certificate including CPR.
* Strong interpersonal and time‑management skills.
* A person‑centred mindset and commitment to inclusive service delivery.
