An excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Tax professional to join a well-regarded advisory team supporting privately owned businesses, family groups and high-net-worth clients across a broad range of tax matters. You will work with clients across companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals, advising on matters including tax planning, restructures, succession planning, Division 7A, trust issues, financing arrangements and transaction-related tax support. This role will suit someone who is confident managing client relationships, leading the delivery of high-quality tax work and supporting junior team members, while continuing to build depth across both compliance and advisory. The role You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of private business clients, delivering a mix of compliance and advisory work, and acting as a trusted point of contact on day-to-day and strategic tax matters. You will review work, guide junior staff and contribute to the continued strength of a technically capable and collaborative team. The work is varied, intellectually strong and suited to someone who enjoys combining technical depth with client engagement. You will be part of an environment that values quality, professionalism and sound commercial judgement. About you You will bring proven experience in Australian tax, ideally gained within a chartered or professional services environment, with exposure to private clients, privately held groups or wealth-related matters. You will be technically capable, detail-oriented and comfortable working across complex issues with discretion and professionalism. You are likely to be someone who is technically capable, commercially aware and comfortable managing competing priorities. You take pride in getting the detail right, but you also understand the bigger picture for clients and the importance of practical advice.
