About The Role
An exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in the mining industry WorkPac is seeking motivated individuals to join as Trainee Bench Hands/Shotfirer Assistants. This role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to work with a world-leading mining solutions provider.
About Our Client
Our client is one of the worlds leading mining and infrastructure solutions providers. They deliver sustainable services ranging from explosives and blasting systems to mining chemicals, digital solutions, and geotechnical monitoring.
What You Will Be Doing
 * Working outdoors in the pit on a mine site in hot and physically demanding conditions
 * Assisting with blast bench activities and manual handling tasks
 * Completing 12-hour shifts on a 7/7 rotating roster
 * Demonstrating compliance with safety procedures and supporting your team
What You Will Need
 * Current Heavy Rigid (HR) drivers licence preferred but not essential
 * Experience working outdoors in physically demanding roles
 * Ability to obtain and provide SSAN clearance, pre-employment, CBM, and pass drug and alcohol testing
 * Positive team attitude with a strong focus on safety and supporting teammates
