About the Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic Travel Consultant to join our team of experts. In this full-time role, you will be customer service focused assisting customers & members to plan and book their travel arrangements.

You will utilise your exceptional customer service skills and share your knowledge, expertise and passion for travel. You will be responsible for managing the customer travel experience from beginning to end, promoting travel products, converting sales to meet targets, creating long lasting relationships that foster repeat business for return travellers and achieving a high level of member and customer satisfaction.
1. Promote holiday packages, flights, hotels, cruises, tours, experiences & insurance
2. Assist customers with face to face in store & online service, managing new enquiries, quotes, itineraries, amendments and cancellations
3. Facilitate domestic & international travel bookings and payments between travellers & suppliers
4. Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, cross selling & up selling of travel products
5. Manage travel credits, refunds and changes
6. Use Amadeus GDS
7. Attend sales meetings and achieve targets & KPIs
8. Attend industry events ie. supplier & product events, ship inspections & travel expos
What we need
1. Certificate 3 in Travel or higher, preferred
2. GDS experience in Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo
3. Passion for travel industry and personal travel experience
4. Outstanding organisational, attention to detail & problem solving skills
5. Ability to manage workflow, set goals, meet sales targets & work productively
6. Excellent personal presentation
