The Role
We are seeking an experienced Bench Jeweller to join our workshop.
This role is primarily bench-based, focusing on manufacturing and repairs to a high standard. You'll work closely with our Diamond Setting and CAD teams, and while experience in these areas isn't essential, an interest or previous exposure would be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manufacture custom jewellery including handmakes and remodels
* Work with CAD designs from print to cast to manufacture.
* Quote and complete all types of general jewellery repairs
* Maintain high standards of quality control and attention to detail
* Manage time, workflow, and job priorities efficiently
* Work collaboratively within a small, skilled workshop team
Qualifications & Experience:
* Trade qualification or equivalent industry experience
* Strong attention to detail and reliable time management
* Confident use of standard workshop equipment (e.g. laser welder)
* Diamond setting experience — bench or microscope (highly regarded but not essential)
* Experience or exposure to CAD design and printing (highly regarded but not essential)
A willingness to support and mentor an apprentice as the team grows will be highly regarded.
International candidates must have:
A minimum of 3 years' relevant industry experience and/or internationally recognised training & a competent english skills as required for Visa 494 and completion of a positive skill assessment
