**ABOUT THE ROLE**
This is a casual position with rosters between 10 and 20 hours per week, worked between 6am and 2pm Monday to Friday. The role will need to work at HMAS Albatross in Norwa Hill and HMAS Creswell in Jervis Bay on rostered shifts. 12 months of previous barista experience will be ideal.
As a **Barista/Cafe all-rounder**, you will contribute to our goal of creating a positive customer experience by providing excellent customer service and amazing coffee.
**In this role, you will be responsible for**:
- Consistently creating excellent customer experiences
- Making great coffee
- Managing the safety and hygiene of your work site and the food you are
handling
- Responding to customer queries, requests and concerns
- Ordering stock and supplies
- Opening and closing the outlet
**ABOUT YOU**

**To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes**:
- A minimum of 1 years' barista experience preferably in a high volume cafe
- Basic food preparation skills would be an advantage but not a must
- Reliability and ability to work with a small team as well as independently and remotely
- Must have a current drivers licence and be able to drive to venue on rostered shifts.
- Excellent working knowledge of food handling & hygiene standards
- Ability to operate POS terminals and handle cash and EFTPOS transactions efficiently and accurately
- Highly developed face to face customer service and communication skills
- A high standard of grooming and presentation as these are front of house roles
