Diesel Fitter | Curragh North Mine | 7/7 Roster

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our high-performing maintenance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of a large fleet of heavy mining equipment.
In this role you will:
* Carry out maintenance, repairs, and component change-outs on heavy mobile plant
* Perform diagnostics, fault finding, inspections, overhauls, and scheduled servicing
* Complete planned and preventative maintenance tasks safely and efficiently
* Undertake daily operational support tasks including refuelling where required
* Work autonomously while following site procedures and safety systems
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance team
* Ensure all work meets strict safety, quality, and compliance standards
What You’ll Need
* Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter
* Proven experience working on heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
* Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and repair capability
* Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
* Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Queensland driver’s licence
