The Role
We are looking for a reliable and organised Legal Assistant to join our team to support two lawyers. The successful candidate will possess the ability to organise, multi-task, prioritise and work under pressure with minimal direction. Experience is essential.

* Has excellent verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and grammar
* Is organised, accurate and has good attention to detail
* Has the ability to monitor time and meet deadlines
* Has excellent administrative skills, including strong Microsoft Office experience
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
* Managing lawyer's schedule and emails;
* Manage and organise client files and legal documents in both digital and paper format (if required);
* Maintain and update Practice Management System for compliance with firm standards;
* Maintain and update Practice Management System for deadlines and critical dates;
* Liaise with clients, lawyers, Courts and other professionals;
* Prepare precedent legal documents for solicitor including letters and Court documents;
* Filing court material via the online portal;
* Overflow reception duties; and
* General administrative tasks.
