We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Support and Systems Engineer to join our expanding operations. This role is critical in managing enterprise ICT environments, developing new technology solutions, and ensuring the smooth operation of ICT services for both internal teams and clients.
2. Key Tasks and Responsibilities
· Schedule and conduct quality audit inspections of ICT systems, networks, and applications — including Wi-Fi networks, UniFi switches, ESXi virtual hosts, and endpoint devices — to ensure compliance with operational standards, security protocols, and business requirements.
· Identify variations, risks, and performance issues across infrastructure and applications, and recommend corrective action plans to optimise system reliability and security.
· Communicate with users, management, and technical teams to promote awareness of standards, best practices, and quality control activities in ICT governance.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, test, and resolve complex ICT issues across servers, virtual machines, databases, networks, applications, and endpoints.
· Perform real-world ICT support tasks including installing and configuring operating systems, deploying standard OS images, setting up and maintaining Wi-Fi networks, provisioning UniFi access points and switches, installing enterprise software, configuring VMware ESXi hosts, and managing virtualisation environments.
· Develop and provide technical training for end users, supported by user guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and troubleshooting documentation.
· Analyse, evaluate, and diagnose technical problems related to installation, maintenance, repair, upgrade, and configuration of ICT infrastructure, including servers, network equipment, storage systems, and security solutions.
· Test, identify, and diagnose functionality errors in hardware, systems, and programming code using established testing protocols such as UAT, regression testing, and performance benchmarking.
· Conduct ICT architecture reviews to assess capacity, resilience, and scalability, and recommend hardware and software strategies for current and future business requirements.
· Create and maintain technical documentation, including procedural guides, configuration notes, network diagrams, test plans, and maintenance inventory records.
3. Practical Experience
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in:
· Designing and deploying high-capacity helpdesk and support platforms integrating telephony, call management, and database systems.
· Developing secure, scalable data management systems for large user bases, including workflow design, integration with existing platforms, and nationwide rollout with user training.
· Managing enterprise ICT infrastructure from server room operations through to end-user device configuration, including LAN/Wi-Fi networks, UniFi, Windows and Linux servers, VMware ESXi virtualisation, and disaster recovery systems.
4. Qualifications & Experience
· Demonstrated experience in ICT infrastructure management, enterprise system administration, and Tier 2/3 technical support.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server, Linux operating systems, VMware ESXi virtualisation, Active Directory, DNS, and SQL Server.
· Strong background in network administration, including UniFi switching, VLAN configuration, VPN deployment, and firewall management.
· Hands-on experience in Wi-Fi deployment, OS imaging, software rollouts, and endpoint configuration.
· Knowledge of IT security frameworks, MFA, role-based access control, and data protection compliance.
· Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
