Secretary/IP Administrator - Intellectual Property Law Firm
IP Sentinels (ipsentinels.com.au) is a firm of patent and trade mark attorneys located in South Perth.
We provide intellectual property services to a wide range of clients both in Australia and around the world.
We are seeking a secretary/IP administrator for a varied role that includes administrative, reception and financial support duties to assist a small and dedicated team of attorneys.
Computing proficiency is important as you will be communicating electronically with the Patent & Trade Marks Office and will be working within proprietary document management systems and industry-specific programs, in addition to generating letters and other documents from existing templates as well as creating invoices and liaising with our accounts personnel for processing of payments.
This is a full-time position, but we can be flexible in terms of hours per week to accommodate the right person.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative support for the attorneys including calendar management, filing, and correspondence.
Reception duties, greeting clients and handling inquiries.
Financial support: invoicing, liaising with accounts personnel, and payment processing.
Use and maintain document management systems such as Equinox, Patricia or Improtech.
Key Skills & Experience
Self-starter with exceptional communication skills and outstanding attention to detail.
Experience in a similar position preferred, but not required.
Experience in an IP firm and familiarity with Equinox, Patricia or Improtech document management systems highly regarded.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
