About us

Aurelia Metals Limited is an ASX-listed, Australian-owned gold and base metals company based in NSW. We operate the Peak and Federation underground mines and are progressing the Great Cobar Project, a high-grade copper development near Peak.

We are proud to be a WORK180 endorsed employer, with inclusion, safety, and our Values at the heart of everything we do. With one of the most prospective land positions in the Cobar Basin, we are unlocking value through discovery, development, and growth.

The Great Cobar Project, with an eight-year mine plan and strong exploration upside, will drive the next generation of growth at Aurelia and create diverse career pathways for those wanting to be part of a high-performance, forward-thinking culture.

Aurelia Graduate Program

Our Graduate Program is a two-year structured development pathway designed to build the next generation of mining professionals through hands-on experience in live operating environments.

Graduates are embedded into operational and technical teams across the business, gaining exposure to underground mining, technical services, processing, maintenance, geology, and corporate functions depending on discipline.

This is a practical, supportive, work-based development experience where you will contribute to real operational outcomes while building your technical capability, confidence, and understanding of the mining industry.

Your development is supported through structured rotations, mentoring, on-the-job learning, and exposure to experienced leaders across the business, giving you a strong foundation for a long-term and rewarding career in mining.

Graduate opportunities

* Graduate Mine Geologist

* Graduate Mining Engineer

Build a strong professional network within the mining industry

* Grow into a confident, job-ready professional with clear career pathways

Where aligned to your discipline and long-term career direction, you may also have opportunities to work towards relevant tickets, qualifications, or operational pathways, supported as part of your development journey, including exposure to discipline-relevant pathways such as:

* High Risk Work Licences

* Shift boss competencies (leadership development pathways)

* Charge-up/blasting tickets (where relevant to discipline)

* Drone operations and emerging mining technologies

* Geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring capability

* Other site-based certifications aligned to your career progression

About the role

This is not a “watch and learn” graduate program.

This is a Graduate Program where you are part of the operating mine from day one.

We are offering a structured development pathway designed to build confident, capable professionals through real underground and surface experience, working alongside experienced teams in live operational environments.

From the outset, you will be supported to take on meaningful work, contributing to day-to-day operations, supporting production outcomes, and building practical capability in a real mining environment.

This is where theory becomes real work.

* Roster: 8/6, 12-hour days (dayshift only)

* Location: Peak / Federation Mines, NSW

* Program length: 2-years

About you

We are looking for graduates ready to transition from study into a real, fast-paced mining environment.

You will bring:
