About the role
Based out of our modern Hazelmere workshop, this role offers a mix of field service and workshop work, supporting a modern fleet of civil construction equipment.
You will be responsible for maintaining and servicing Georgiou's fleet to ensure high standards of safety, reliability and performance, while working within a small, collaborative maintenance team.
This is a metro role offering consistent hours (45–50 hours per week), with the benefit of being home every night and enjoying weekends with your family.
What you'll be doing
• Perform preventative maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs
• Diagnose faults across a range of mobile plant and equipment
• Maintain and repair equipment including articulated trucks, dozers, excavators, graders, wheel loaders and ancillary plant
• Complete field service work using a fully equipped service vehicle
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety and compliance standards
• Support apprentices and contribute to a positive team environment
Your skills and experience
• Trade qualified Heavy Duty Plant Mechanic
• 5+ years post-trade experience working on civil construction equipment
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and troubleshooting capability (including electrical systems)
• Experience across both workshop and field service environments
• Proven experience maintaining CAT or similar mobile plant equipment
• Strong commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid C Class driver's licence (HR desirable)
• Physically fit and capable of meeting the demands of the role
