Your next career opportunity

As the Clinical Simulation Manager and Facilitator in this exciting new role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of Simulation-Based Education and Training (SBET) at the Aikenhead Centre for Medical Discovery. You will collaborate with medical education leaders to ensure high-quality learning experiences, drive innovation in simulation practices, and support multidisciplinary education across health disciplines. This role offers you the chance to make a significant impact on clinical education and healthcare excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Lead Strategic Simulation Education: Design and deliver evidence-based SBET, ensuring alignment with contemporary educational practices.
* Drive Innovation and Research: Support SBET research initiatives and promote evidence-based practices and new methodologies.
* Ensure Quality and Safety: Establish high standards of safety, ethics, and best practices in simulation education.
* Manage Resources and Infrastructure: Oversee the lifecycle management of simulation resources to maximise educational impact.

You may be a great fit if:

You will be an experienced healthcare professional with a strong background in simulation-based education, capable of leading innovative practices and collaborating effectively with diverse healthcare teams.

You may also:

* Have a tertiary healthcare-related undergraduate qualification and current registration with a regulatory board.
* Possess a postgraduate qualification in Clinical Education or Simulation, or equivalent experience.
* Have recent experience delivering healthcare in an acute setting within the last five years.
* Demonstrate at least five years of experience in simulation-based education within workplace or university environments.
* Be skilled in managing and troubleshooting clinical simulation equipment and audio-visual technologies.
