Who are we looking for?
We have a strong pipeline of exciting and career‑enhancing both full‑time and part‑time assignments across the Energy, Mining, Oil & Gas and Construction sectors, and we're interested in hearing from Corporate & Commercial lawyers to join us and commence their LOD journey. These assignments offer hybrid and sometimes remote working arrangements.
To join us, you will:
• Have at least 4‑12 years PQE ideally gained from top or mid‑tier law firms or in‑house (with strong legal training).
• Be experienced in general commercial and corporate law, commercial disputes and litigation.
• Be experienced in drafting, negotiating contracts, lease agreements.
• Be experienced in providing legal advice on commercial agreements, procurement, and joint ventures.
• Previous experience in mining, construction, oil & gas advantageous.
• A pragmatic, commercial mindset and the ability to thrive in a challenging environment.
• Be client centric – commercially minded, adaptable and able to hit the ground running.
• Enjoy partnering with businesses and managing stakeholder relationships.
No assignment or day is ever the same when you’re working with LOD. You could find yourself providing expertise in commercial and corporate legal matters, drafting sales & licensing agreements, contract reviews and preparation. This is a great opportunity to diversify your experience and bolster your CV through a career with LOD. These assignments are of varied durations, ranging anywhere from 6‑12 months initially and not limited to short term assignments.
