Job Title: Community Liaison Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Community Liaison Specialist.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with local First Nations communities and stakeholders, providing advice on cultural protocols and customs, and assisting in the delivery of community programs and activities.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategies to build trust and understanding between Police Officers and members of the local community.
* Provide guidance on cultural protocols and customs to Police Officers and other stakeholders.
* Assist in the delivery of community programs and activities that promote community engagement and social cohesion.
* Maintain contact with community leaders and stakeholders to ensure input of community concerns in policing issues.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Indigenous Studies, Social Work, Community Development).
* Proven experience working with Indigenous communities and stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
