Requirements Post-secondary education in a relevant field such as computer troubleshooting, and repair is considered an asset. 2- 5 years of directly related experience, ideally in data centers or similar operational environment. Experience supporting and developing a team of technicians responsible for maintenance and repair of computer hardware. Experience or certifications with Fortinet products, including FortiGate, and FortiSwitch, are highly desirable. Candidates with transferable skills from Cisco's Nexus and Firepower product line are encouraged to apply. Experience in a fast-paced growth environment. Ability to travel and work flexible hours to support the organization. Core network skills (CCNA or equivalent). Computer troubleshooting capabilities (CompTIA A or equivalent). Operations in a data centre environment and understanding of the associated components (fiber optic, network switches, PDU’s, etc) is an asset. Awareness of safe work practices in a live data centre environment, including electrical safety, working at height where applicable, and safe handling of rack-mounted equipment. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership, service providers and various personnel. Demonstrated trouble shooting and problem-solving skills. Superior time management and multitasking skills with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
