An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join a well-established national organisation operating within the industrial products sector. This role will see you take ownership of a key regional territory, leading a team of field-based sales professionals while driving revenue growth, strengthening customer partnerships and executing strategic sales initiatives. About the Role
This is a field-based leadership role, where you will spend time working alongside your team, supporting their development while maintaining strong engagement with key customers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor and support a team of field‐based sales representatives
* Drive regional revenue growth and achieve sales targets
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans across the region
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
* Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence
* Conduct regular field visits to coach and support team performance
* Monitor sales performance, market trends and competitor activity
* Provide accurate reporting, forecasting and insights to senior leadership
* Support product launches, promotional initiatives and customer engagement activities
* Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, customer support and operations
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding and development of new team members
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong background in sales leadership and account management, ideally within the industrial, manufacturing, wholesale or related sectors.
You will ideally have
* Proven experience in a Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager role
* Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth and sales targets
* Experience leading and developing field‐based sales teams
* Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
* Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills
* Confidence managing key accounts and complex stakeholder relationships
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work autonomously
* A current driver's licence and willingness to travel within the region
