As the **Front of House Manager**, you will be a key player in managing day-to-day operations, leading a team of front-of-house staff, and taking ownership of the customer experience. This is a fantastic chance for someone with **2+ years of management experience** who is looking to make an impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage the front-of-house team to ensure exceptional service and smooth café operations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring that every guest leaves satisfied.
- Manage daily operations including staff scheduling, ordering, stock control, and POS system.
- Train and mentor new staff, providing continuous support and development to help them excel in their roles.
- Monitor service flow to ensure timely seating and efficient table turnover, especially during busy periods.
- Work closely with the head chef and bring creative ideas for Menu changes/ Specials etc
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
- Oversee cash handling and ensure all transactions are accurate and secure.
**Key Requirements**:
- **2+ years of management experience** in a Café/Restaurant setting.
- **Approved Manager's Card** and **Food Safety Supervisor Certificate** are essential.
- Barista trained
- Proven experience with staff training, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Ability to lead by example, fostering a positive and motivating team culture.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible availability to work **weekends** and **public holidays**, with no late-night shifts.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
