Permanent, full‑time role based in South Australia (Greater Adelaide).
The Territory Manager works in the field within the defined territory, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager/Lead.
The position offers competitive remuneration, benefits, and tools of trade such as a car, laptop, and i Pad.
Responsibilities Meet sales and activity targets for your territory and product portfolio.
Create and adjust territory plans to hit targets.
Build strong relationships with veterinarians, vet nurses, store managers, field reps, vet technicians, and business managers.
Use the technical services team to influence customers and support technical messaging that drives sales.
Leverage business relationships to deliver results.
Identify customer needs and demonstrate how Animal Health products and services solve them.
Execute defined promotional tactics to maximise sales.
Provide technical and sales training to wholesalers and customers to ensure accurate end‑user messaging.
Manage product complaints, pricing queries, compliance issues and follow‑ups within required timelines.
Deliver corporate sales presentations to consumer groups, customers and wholesalers as needed.
Analyse customer data in MAXX (Salesforce) and other sources to guide territory, customer and call planning and target high‑value customers.
Record customer interactions in CRM systems such as MAXX (Salesforce) to set next call objectives and build a single customer view for marketing.
Maintain strong product knowledge and a broader understanding of Animal Health issues.
Communicate effectively across sales and marketing, share knowledge and contribute positively in team meetings and marketing forums.
Qualifications (What You Must Have) Tertiary business or science degree preferred.
Proven commercial success in sales essential.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) and proficiency with i Pad essential.
Ability to build long‑term relationships.
Ability to explain technical information clearly.
High flexibility and resilience.
Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Logical problem‑solving ability.
Excellent written and oral communication, including audio‑visual presentations.
Excellent organisational skills and timely customer response.
Strong teamwork, collaboration and inclusive behaviours.
Self‑starter with initiative who works well with minimal supervision.
Ability to make day‑to‑day decisions for routine activities.
