Quality Safety and Environment (Compliance) Coordinator
An expanding Australian owned waste management company is seeking suitable applicants to fill the position of a QSE Coordinator to work in our Head Office, based at Chinderah in Northern NSW.
You will be part of a small dedicated multidisciplinary QSE Compliance team that oversees the company's Quality, Safety and Environmental regulatory compliance obligations as well as conformance to the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO45001 nationally to ensure operational compliance.
Reporting to the National QSE Manager this position will ultimately be responsible for the day to day administrative maintenance and improvement of the company's Integrated Management System requirements.
You will be involved in monitoring and streamlining processes and procedures, along with ensuring the accuracy of work output from the department.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with and driving the administration of the Integrated Management System and compliance management strategies.
* Internal auditing of the system to include sites, processes, and documentation; completing reviews and reports on QSE conformance to company requirements and external certification bodies and standards.
* Assist administratively with data management and inputting to ensuring regulatory compliance, standards conformance and company policy requirements are being met across multiple states.
* Ability to travel interstate on occasion if required.
* Assisting the Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Coordinator with claims and processing requirements.
* Assess claims and customer feedback and develop the necessary correspondence and reporting documentation where required.
* Ongoing administrative maintenance, creation, reviewing and updating of documentation inclusive of policies, procedures and management plans annually and as required.
* Ensuring the updating of training and compliance records and registers relative to the functions and requirements of the IMS.
* Assisting employees, supervisors and managers as necessary and as required with advice and support relating to the QSE Systems requirements.
* Receiving, triaging, actioning and assigning email requests sent to the compliance department.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Tertiary Qualification in Safety, Risk Management, or Legal Studies would be highly regarded, but not necessarily required dependant on relevant experience.
* Experience working within a Certified Quality Management System Structure.
* Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks, to ensure deadlines are met.
* Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
* High level computer skills with working knowledge of Excel, Word, Visio and Adobe and the ability to learn and assist in the administration of cloud-based systems.
