The Role
Reporting directly to the National Operations Manager, the Store Manager will oversee day-to-day operations at our Brisbane Sales and Service Centre. This leadership role is responsible for:
- Driving operational excellence
- Fostering a high-performing team culture
- Delivering exceptional customer service aligned with Spitwater’s brand values
You’ll be a culture champion, setting a professional example and creating a positive, productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee daily store operations across showroom, warehouse, and office
- Manage local assets and ensure compliance with safety and company policies
Sales & Customer Service
- Promote Spitwater’s servicing capabilities and product range
- Resolve escalated customer issues with a solutions-first mindset
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
- Manage rosters and workforce planning
- Approve timesheets and support HR compliance
Financial Oversight
- Manage local budgets and reporting
- Monitor financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities
Store Standards
- Maintain visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
- Oversee stock control and transfers
- Coordinate building maintenance and repairs
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Experience in retail or service operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Budget management experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant IT systems
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift licence
- Experience with technical equipment or service operations
- Tertiary education in business or management (advantageous)
