Electrical Power System Specialist

This role involves working with low and medium voltage switchgear, performing startup, preventive maintenance, and testing. It also includes conducting primary and secondary injection testing on low voltage circuit breakers and medium voltage circuit breaker maintenance and testing.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of LV and MV electrical systems, safety protocols, and test equipment. They should be proficient in using test equipment such as primary injection test sets, secondary test sets, insulation resistance testers, TTR, DLRO, etc.
">
Familiarity with NFPA 70E, NFPA 70B, NETA ATS/MTS, and IEEE testing standards is a plus. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and repair issues related to circuit breakers, switchgear, and MCCs.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform startup, preventive maintenance, and testing on low and medium voltage switchgear
">
2. Conduct primary and secondary injection testing on low voltage circuit breakers

3. Maintain and test medium voltage circuit breakers

4. Test and evaluate medium voltage cables
">
5. Carry out transformer testing
">
6. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to circuit breakers, switchgear, and MCCs
">
7. Document test results and findings in detailed reports
">

Requirements:

8. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical power system testing and maintenance
">
9. Strong understanding of LV and MV electrical systems, safety protocols, and test equipment

10. Proficient in using test equipment such as primary injection test sets, secondary test sets, insulation resistance testers, TTR, DLRO, etc.
