We are a leading Perth Software Consultancy currently looking for multiple Java Developers (both mid-level and Senior developer) to work on a large ongoing digital transformation project for a key government client based in Perth.
This is full-time hours, initial 12-month contract role with a further 12-month extension. You will be working on a large digital transformation project which includes the re-development of a suite of business-critical applications, and Azure cloud migration work.
Main responsibilities:
* Design and development of quality software and solutions
* Understanding business and customer requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions
* Participate in all phases of product development lifecycle, including the analysis, design, test, integration within an Agile methodology environment
Key Requirements:
* Extensive Java/J2EE development experience
* Java 11+
* Angular (version 12 and above), knowledge of Angular Material desirable
* Spring, Sprint-boot (embedded Tomcat), Spring-data-jpa
* Apache echart, Maven
* Cloud platform - AWS ECS Fargate
* Good Database skills
* OpenSearch
* Proven experience in Software Quality assurance and SDLC models, especially Agile & Scrum highly regarded
Desirable:
* Any exposure to AWS Cloud integration or migration projects
* Experience with setup of AWS CI/CD pipelines
