Payroll Administrator - RETAIL Head Office | 12-Month Contract Adelaide Based | 30 Hours Over 5 Days | $60K-$70K Super FTE About the Company: This established and growing retail group operates across multiple sites nationally and is driven by a values-led culture focused on care, people, and performance. With a strong presence in the market and a dynamic support office team, they're looking for a capable Payroll Administrator to join their Adelaide-based head office on a part-time contract basis. About the Role: This is a 12-month contract position working 30 hours per week across five days. You'll play a key role in managing fortnightly payrolls and supporting broader payroll operations for a multi-site, fast-paced retail business. Accuracy, efficiency and a proactive mindset will be key to success in this role. What You Will Do: Process fortnightly payrolls on a rotating weekly schedule across the business Review and input timesheets from multiple operational leaders Respond to payroll-related queries and process adjustments as needed Accurately manage incentive payments, reclassifications, wage changes and promotions Maintain employee records and ensure compliance across systems Interpret relevant awards and agreements to ensure accurate payroll processing Prepare and verify weekly, monthly, and year-end reports Manage wage uploads and assist with Power BI data entry Monitor superannuation contributions and long service leave balances Support continuous improvement projects within the payroll function Contribute to reporting and compliance documentation What You Will Bring: Previous experience in end-to-end payroll processing Strong understanding of employment legislation, payroll compliance and award interpretation Confident using payroll software and comfortable working across multiple systems Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail Experience working with dispersed or multi-site teams is desirable Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach A genuine interest in driving accuracy and improving systems What's in it for you!
