Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our residential care team at Victoria Park House in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of person-centered care to our residents.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to cover a maternity leave position for 12 months. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading small clinical teams and assessing the total health needs of clients.
* Supervise and direct the delivery of client-focused care delivered by staff.
* Assess the total health needs of clients and document results thoroughly.
* Develop individual care plans in consultation with clients and significant others.
* Comply with all relevant legislation and policies.
* Uphold the organization's values and principles in all areas of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a valid AHPRA registration and possess great interpersonal and communication skills. They will be detail-oriented and able to work well in both a team environment and independently.
In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience in aged care or a related field, although this is not essential. What is important is a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
