About the Position
This is a part-time hybrid role 3 or 4 days per week. Site attendance is required weekly, but dedicated work from home times guaranteed.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a Quality Assurance Lead, this role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of medicolegal reports for our independent medical assessment services. You will provide comprehensive quality assurance support to our medical specialists while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including doctors, insurers, patients, employers, and legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and quality assure medicolegal reports, impairment assessments and associated forms against quality frameworks, regulatory requirements, and legislative standards.
* Identify and address inaccurate, deficient, or incomplete reports by liaising with medical specialists, customers, and team members.
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure effective prioritization and delivery.
* Liaise effectively with key stakeholders including medical specialists, insurers, patients, employers, and legal professionals.
* Advise the Medicolegal Co-Ordinator, medical specialists and customers of possible delays in turnaround times.
* Escalate matters requiring intervention to the Medicolegal Co-Ordinator.
* Establish and maintain effective, robust relationships with medical specialists, customers, and team members.
* Provide Pre-Assessment and Administration support when required
Required Experience and Qualifications
* Experience within medicolegal, medical administration, legal services or quality assurance environments will be highly regarded.
* Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills with exceptional English proficiency and proofreading skills.
* Computer literacy with competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and IT programs for patient and data management.
* Strong, pro-active team player with excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and manage competing timeframes.
