Better Health Network (BHN) is seeking a Customer Service Specialist – Oral Health to be the welcoming first point of contact for clients accessing dental care in our community health clinics.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting patients, coordinating appointments and working as part of a supportive clinical team.
Our Oral Health program operates 23 dental chairs across four clinics and provides outreach services across five local government areas, improving access to dental care for the community.
About The Role
Based at our Bentleigh East dental clinic, this role is responsible for providing exceptional reception and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the clinic.
Monday to Friday 08:00AM-16:30PM
You will be responsible for supporting patient bookings, managing enquiries, maintaining accurate records and assisting the dental team to deliver high‐quality care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide warm and professional reception service to clients attending the clinic
* Manage appointment bookings, waitlists and cancellations
* Respond to phone, email and in‐person enquiries
* Register new clients and maintain accurate client records in Titanium
* Support medical billing, EFTPOS transactions and health claims
* Liaise with clinicians and internal teams to support patient flow
* Assist with general reception administration and clinic coordination

You Will Bring
* Experience in reception, administration or customer service
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‐paced environment
* High attention to detail and strong computer skills
* A commitment to confidentiality and client‐centred service
Highly Desirable
* Experience in medical or dental reception
* Knowledge of medical billing or HICAPS
* Experience using Titanium client management system
* Work within a multidisciplinary, community‐based health team
