Job Description:
The Director will lead a high-performing team providing critical legal policy support, with a real opportunity to directly impact local outcomes. The role involves managing a team to deliver key responsibilities such as undertaking legal policy work, instructing legislation drafters, and providing advice to teams across the Division on legal policy issues.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their capability against the Executive Level 2 Work level standards. They will have actively led, achieved results, communicated with influence, acted with integrity, built productive partnerships, and worked with legislation.
Eligibility Requirements:
Employment with the Department is subject to conditions prescribed within the Public Service Act 1999. Candidates must be an Australian citizen at the time of submitting their application. The preferred applicant may be required to undergo a medical examination and obtain security clearance at Baseline Level.
