About the Role
We are seeking a Painter to join our team. The role involves preparing surfaces, applying paints and coatings, and completing finishing work across a range of residential and commercial projects.
This is a hands‐on position suited to someone who can work independently and as part of a team across different job sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming as required
* Apply paints, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
* Carry out interior and exterior painting work across residential and commercial sites
* Mix and match paint colours to achieve required finishes
* Protect surrounding surfaces and ensure clean job execution
* Inspect completed work to ensure quality and consistency
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
* Follow workplace health and safety requirements at all times
* Coordinate with team members to complete projects within timeframes
* Assist with general site preparation and clean‐up
Skills & Experience
* Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or a related qualification
* Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant full‐time work experience
* Knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and surface preparation
* Ability to use painting tools and equipment effectively
* Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
* Ability to work across multiple sites
* Good time‐management and teamwork skills
* Understanding of workplace safety practices
