Senior Piggery Stockperson Role
We are recruiting for Senior Piggery Stockpersons to join our team. The successful candidates will be based in Western Australia, working on pig farms that prioritize high animal welfare and environmentally sustainable farming practices.
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the optimal health and well-being of the pigs. This includes conducting daily shelter checks, monitoring water, feed, health, and welfare, as well as maintaining accurate records. Additionally, the stockperson will operate machinery, clean shelters, and perform equipment maintenance tasks.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Prior experience as a Piggery Stockperson
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Minimum 5 years of commercial pig farming experience with English language proficiency
