Job Title
Our organization is seeking a skilled Social & Community Planning professional to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Expert Advice
* Develop and implement social and community planning strategies, policies and initiatives that promote social inclusion, equity, wellbeing and resilience across diverse and growing populations.
* Collaborate with local health districts, government agencies, non-government organisations and community groups to co-design responses to emerging needs and advocate for shared priorities.
* Provide expert advice on social and community planning strategies, focusing on the built environment and its impact on health and wellbeing outcomes.
* Deliver comprehensive social and health impact assessments, incorporating demographic and social data to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in a related field such as Social Planning, Social Work/Social Sciences, Urban Planning or Public Health.
* Current NSW Class C Driver's Licence and Current Working with Children's Check.
* Proven ability to build effective partnerships and communicate complex information to stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills and experience using demographic and social data to identify gaps and inform strategic decision-making.
