About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader to join our Client Services Program as a Senior Client Services Officer. This pivotal role combines direct client engagement with leadership of a growing team of Client Services Officers and Disability Support Workers.
You’ll work closely with clients and their care networks to support person-centred, goal-driven outcomes under the NDIS while mentoring team members and contributing to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the General Manager, you will:
* Be the first point of contact for NDIS participants
* Manage a personal caseload with a focus on person-centred support planning.
* Liaise with Support Coordinators and stakeholders
* Prepare and coordinate Participant Service Agreements
* Administer the client intake process.
* Provide ongoing case management.
* Provide timely solutions to participant queries and complaints.
* Perform high-quality administrative duties in a high-volume environment.
* Ensure compliance with NDIS guidelines and quality standards.
* Assist the General Manager as required
* Participate in the on-call weekend roster for emergency response.
What We're Looking For
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience in leadership/supervisory roles, particularly within disability or community services.
* A relevant qualification in community services, welfare support, disability support or social work.
* A motivated self-starter with a willingness to learn.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Great time management skills and the ability to prioritise your workload.
* Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
* Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and database applications.
* Excellent attention to detail and the mathematical ability to calculate the costs of services.
* Current Driver’s License & own vehicle (registered & insured).
* Valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* First Aid & CPR Certificate.
* Completion of NDIS training modules (Induction, Orientation, Safe Meals, Communication).
* Full working rights in Australia.
* NDIS screening check
* On-the-job training specific to NDIS can be provided.
