Palliative care education plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of end-of-life care. In this position, you will design and facilitate palliative care education sessions for nursing staff, support clinical teams in implementing best-practice approaches, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, mentor nurses in developing palliative care competencies, contribute to policy development, provide clinical support, and work sensitively with patients, families, and colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have current registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia, hold or be working towards postgraduate qualification in palliative care, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. The selected individual will commit to continuous learning and professional development.
