With support from the Coordinator Community Programs and Library Services, you'll develop and evaluate the Cambridge Library's social media, marketing and communications in alignment with its Strategic Plan.In this newly established role, you will promote programs and events across various channels, design campaigns to attract new patrons, and collaborate with internal teams to create engaging content.
With the Cambridge Library team, you will contribute to delivering continued high quality customer service to library patrons, while also assisting in maintaining stakeholder relationships, collections and project delivery.Selection CriteriaThe successful candidate's core values will mirror the Town's values of Friendly and helpful, Teamwork, Creativity, Integrity, and Respect, and be able to demonstrate the following:Experience in developing, delivering and evaluating effective and engaging marketing and communications materials across a wide variety of channels.Comprehensive knowledge of digital marketing software programs, current marketing trends, and inclusive and accessible communication practices.Highly developed written skills, including experience in writing and proof-reading engaging content, newsletters, press releases and other promotional materials.Highly developed verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with demonstrated experience managing stakeholder relationships and working collaboratively across multiple teams.Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to manage projects within set timeframes, meet deadlines, prioritise competing demands, update shared project plans, and record information.Experience providing high-quality customer service within a busy and evolving environment.Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team to deliver strategic outcomes.Tertiary qualification in marketing, communication or library services or other related discipline OR extensive experience (desirable).
