Join us as a Tax Specialist and play a critical role in driving accurate and timely delivery of QI, FATCA, and CRS regulatory compliance and reporting across the organisation. This role offers the opportunity to work with multiple teams across Operations, Front Office, Compliance, Technology, and Risk, contributing to the strength of our governance, controls, and cross‐functional collaboration.
You'll be the key point of expertise on complex tax regulatory obligations and will help shape continuous improvement initiatives that support high‐quality regulatory outcomes.
This is a 12 month fixed‐term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the subject‐matter expert for QI, FATCA and CRS regulations, providing advisory support, conducting reviews, and partnering with Operations, KYC, Compliance, Risk, and Front Office teams.
* Lead the delivery of annual QI‐FATCA‐CRS reporting by preparing, validating and submitting data to tax authorities accurately and on time.
* Maintain and enhance policies, procedures, operational controls, and technical documentation to ensure strong governance and adherence to regulatory standards.
* Analyse regulatory changes and assess operational impacts, recommending and driving process and system improvements across the business.
* Represent the COO team on regulatory and ad‐hoc projects, promoting regulatory awareness and delivering training when required.
* Perform data quality checks, reconciliations, and issue management to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of regulatory reporting data.
Your profile
About You
* Proven expertise in an operational role with practical working knowledge of FATCA, CRS and/or QI regulatory compliance, with strong appreciation of risk, controls and operational impact.
* Deep technical understanding of U.S. and global tax reporting, applied confidently in a hands‐on operational environment.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements for non‐technical stakeholders.
* High attention to detail, strong judgement and integrity, with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
* A collaborative approach with the ability to influence and partner across Operations, Compliance and Front Office teams.
* Experience in private banking or wealth management (advantageous but not essential).
