Hourly Rate
$37 to $44 Per Hour + Super. In addition, earn an extra 15% above the award wage as part of the Worker Retention Payment Scheme, making the actual wage between $42.55 and $50.60 per hour plus super.
Role
* Vacation Care: Be part of an exciting vacation care program with up to 6 hour shifts
* Continue working into the school term with both Before and After School Care shifts
* Monday to Friday
* Paid administrative time and regular training and development opportunities
Your Impact: Key Responsibilities
* Be the Visionary: plan and program science experiments, sports tournaments, fun educational activities and creative arts for kids
* Safety First, Fun Always: lead a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels like a rockstar
* Chef it up: prepare healthy, tasty snacks
* Mentor & Mobilise: empower your team to lead with confidence and foster a shared commitment to enriching every child\'s experience
* Champion Quality: work with the Programs Engagement Manager on Assessment & Ratings with support from compliance experts
* The Community Connector: ensure every stakeholder is heard and valued while building integrated OSHC programs
* The Clockwork Catalyst: manage the day-to-day operations of the service to ensure things run smoothly
What You Bring to the Mix
* Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor\'s in Early Childhood, Primary Teaching, or School Aged Care (or studying toward); check with us if your qualification is approved
* The Vibe: warm, engaging, and has a can-do attitude
* Essentials: valid Working With Children Check, Child Protection Training Certificate, First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (willingness to obtain)
* Master Connector: ability to build trust and connection with children, Educators, and school leadership
