Respect Aged Care is currently seeking a committed Registered Nurse to take on a 6‑month contract leadership role at our Peace Haven home in Launceston, with full‑time availability required to meet operational demands as needed.

The Opportunity
The Care Manager will play a critical leadership role in delivering clinical and operational excellence. Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role is responsible for :
* Planning, assigning, and overseeing staff duties and resident care delivery.
* Ensuring compliance with clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
* Providing strong leadership and mentoring within a resident‑focused environment.
* Managing human, material and financial resources efficiently and in line with budgetary guidelines.
* Supporting a positive team culture of collaboration, accountability and innovation.
* Leading and contributing to continuous improvement and accreditation processes.
What You'll Need
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and current registration with AHPRA.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in residential aged care.
* Proven nursing management experience.
* Sound clinical knowledge aligned with contemporary best practices.
* Strong understanding of aged care legislation, accreditation standards and funding instruments (e.g. ACFI).
* Experience with accreditation and quality processes.
* Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
* Must meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements.
Desirable
* Completion of Infection Control Training.
* Availability to flex into full‑time hours as required.
