Job Description
As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring effective management of the residential caretaking agreement, including facilitating the hotel services being provided from the hotel component of the business. In your role, you will:
* Conduct daily/monthly checks of common property and assets in line with the scope of works in the caretaking agreement.
* Manage contractors, schedule servicing, and oversee quality control.
* Monitor and report on by-law breaches, incidents and hazards.
* Maintain security systems, FOBs, keys and access controls.
* Coordinate waste, cleaning and minor repairs.
* Handle compliance, contractor documentation & WHS registers.
* Liaise with stakeholders and assist in budget prep & shared facilities coordination.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor/Coordinator, or in a similar role. You will also have:
* Strong technical knowledge of building systems (Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical)
* Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations.
* Knowledge of Australian Standards related to facilities management.
* Body/Owners Corporation Experience.
* Understanding of budgeting and performance management.
* Excellent planning and leadership abilities.
* Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to make sound decisions and understand commercial implications.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Must have Full Australian Working Rights.
