Technical Sales Consultant – Electrical & Electronics Industries
An exciting opportunity exists for an independent Technical Sales Consultant to join an international leading manufacturer of magnetic material. They specialise in soft magnetic materials, producing both the materials and cores for inductor cores – a key passive element in the electrical and electronics industry. Their magnetic materials are used in electronics, automotive and telecommunications.
They are looking to build connections and partnerships within the WA and Australia market and seek someone who can act as their sales representative in WA/Australia.
The key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to the following):
Sourcing new sales opportunities through own network
Develop a network of clients and prospects
Research accounts to identify key players and generate interest from various business sources
Gather technical intel on the Australian Electrical and Electronics market
Visit prospect and client sites
Promote the company's products
Maintain and expand your database of prospects in Australia
Look after qualified opportunities for further development and closure
Qualifications & experience
Strong knowledge of the electrical and electronics industries
Exceptional customer service skills, with a practical approach to providing sales solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
A genuine team-player who can work effectively with others and self-motivated when working autonomously
