Position: Qualified Mechanic – Full Time
Apprentice or Automotive Student (Mechanics) – Immediate Start

About Us
We are a well-established, family-owned mechanical workshop situated in Hornsby, just a short 5-minute drive from Westfield. As a tight-knit team, we take great pride in providing exceptional customer service in a friendly and positive environment. We handle all types of mechanical work for a wide range of vehicles, from everyday models to the occasional classic car. Our services include logbook servicing, brake and clutch repairs, registration inspections, and a variety of other mechanical repairs. No job is too big or too small—we're dedicated to meeting all our customers' needs.
The Role
We currently have 2 full-time positions' available including an apprenticeship (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) The successful candidate's will be offered a permanent position, with a 6-month probationary period.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Servicing and repairing light vehicles and commercial cars
· Diagnosing and testing vehicle issues
· Carrying out both routine and complex mechanical repairs
· Assisting customers and maintaining effective communication
· Supporting team members and management as required

About You
We're looking for a fully qualified mechanic, apprentice, or mechanical student who thrives in a team environment. If you are a qualified mechanic, you should have the skills to handle a variety of tasks, including servicing, fault diagnosis, and more advanced repairs. Familiarity with European cars and diagnostics is a bonus but not a necessity. For apprentices or students, we're seeking someone who is eager to learn, reliable, and keen to develop their skills across all areas of automotive mechanics.
What You'll Need
· Qualified automotive mechanic or relevant automotive experience
· Valid, unrestricted Australian driver's licence (manual preferred)
· A minimum of 5-10 years' experience as a fully qualified mechanic (for the qualified role)
· Own set of tools suitable for the job
· Australian citizen or permanent resident with the unrestricted right to work in Australia
· A high standard of workmanship with attention to detail
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Punctuality and reliability
· Willingness to follow instructions and learn from others
