About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in guiding learners toward desired outcomes, continuously assessing opportunities and challenges within and externally to the organization.
This position involves interacting with learners to contribute to nursing professional development processes and ensuring the achievement of measurable outcomes. Key responsibilities include creating, planning, implementing, and coordinating orientation for individuals new to the nursing unit/department, monitoring and reporting compliance with required documentation for orientation, and evaluating the unit/department orientation process based on health care trends, learning needs, and organizational goals.
As an NPD Practitioner, you will serve as a resource for clinical inquiry, demonstrate a spirit of inquiry to support professional curiosity, and collaborate with others to identify problems and solutions and create changes planned.

Key Responsibilities
* Create, plan, implement, and coordinate orientation for individuals new to the nursing unit/department

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
* Two years of nursing experience
* Current, valid Florida State of Nursing license as a registered professional nurse
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
* Advanced Life Support Provider Certification, per specialty
