Due to continued organisational growth, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our fantastic team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring our commercial and contractual frameworks are managed effectively.
As the Contracts Administrator, you will support the full contract lifecycle—from tender preparation through to contract award, post‑award administration, and procurement coordination. Your expertise will help drive strong commercial outcomes and ensure projects are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer contracts across the entire project lifecycle from tender preparation through to contract award and post-award administration.
* Review contract terms, specifications, and scope documentation to ensure contractual obligations and commercial risks are clearly understood.
* Maintain and manage contract registers, contractual correspondence, and documentation.
* Ensure the organisation and subcontractors comply with contractual obligations and agreed deliverables.
* Support the resolution of contractual issues, disputes, or commercial matters as they arise.
* Assist in the preparation and coordination of tender documentation, including scopes of work, commercial schedules, and contract conditions.
* Coordinate the tender process including issuing invitations to tender or RFQ, managing submissions, and assisting with evaluation processes.
* Support procurement activities including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating subcontractor engagement.
* Ensure procurement activities align with project schedules, budgets, and scope requirements.
* Maintain supplier and subcontractor records ensuring insurances, licences, and compliance documentation are current.
* Support project managers and the project delivery manager in executing projects on time and on budget
* Managing progress claims with project managers and clients to ensure timely approval and payment.
* Support the project managers with project reporting to client.
About you:
* Demonstrated experience in contract administration within construction, civil, infrastructure, or mining environments.
* Strong understanding of contract management, procurement processes, and commercial administration.
* Experience supporting tender preparation, subcontract management, and variation administration.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent document management and organisational skills.
* Ability to analyse contracts and identify commercial risks and obligations.
* Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
* Diploma or relevant experience in contract administration or commercial management.
* Knowledge of common Australian construction contracts such as AS4000 or AS2124 (desirable
