Our client is a leading WA EPC(M) with numerous projects across mining and base metals projects. They are seeking a Senior / Lead Structural Designer to join the team due to continued growth.
The role reports directly to a Senior / Lead Engineer and is responsible for producing all 2D layouts (AutoCAD or MicroStation) and 3D modelling with Tekla. You will supervise and lead Junior / Intermediate Designers to ensure quality and timeliness of work.
Responsibilities
* Produce 2D layouts (AutoCAD or MicroStation).
* Develop 3D models using Tekla.
* Supervise and mentor Junior / Intermediate Designers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Qualifications
* At least 5 years of experience with an Engineering Consultancy within mining projects.
* Proven ability to lead and develop staff.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills; takes pride in workmanship.
Location & Compensation
The role is based in West Perth, offering a flexible salary or ongoing contract rate.
