The Role
Swan Materials currently has an opportunity for a Casual Truck Driver based in Moora, Western Australia. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe loading, transport and delivery of quarry and raw materials to customers and operational sites across the region. You will operate heavy vehicles including truck and dog or semi-trailer combinations, ensuring materials are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. This role offers flexible casual hours and the opportunity to work within a supportive team in a safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities
* Safely operate heavy vehicles to transport quarry and raw materials
* Load and deliver materials to internal and external customer sites
* Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained at all times
* Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and mass management requirements
* Complete required delivery and transport documentation
* Maintain professional relationships with customers and site personnel
* Conduct basic vehicle inspections and maintain the vehicle in a clean and safe condition
What You Will Need To Succeed
* Current HC or MC driver's licence and ability to provide driver licence history check – essential
* Strong understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and safe heavy vehicle operation
* Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to safety
* Reliable and professional attitude with strong customer service skills
* Previous tipper, truck and dog, or quarry haulage experience advantageous
* Experience within the quarry, construction or building materials industry desirable but not essential
